So Tuesday I was out on a short 8 miler and took one of the SIS Go Gel’s with me. It was a good run and enjoyable. The Gel worked well.
Last night [Thursday] I hit the tarmac again and this time was out for 16 miler. This was hard, I completed it but It was difficult on the 12+ miles and was not feeling great when I got in. Still today I feel fine and although the Gels helped, I’m hoping come the day the fact that I will be well rested will help to keep me going. I have every intention of getting the 26 miles done, just have to make it work on the day.
