Back in the Sweat box

So back in Singapore yesterday and I was up around 09:00 as wanted to get out to the Botanic gardens. Its about 5 MRT stops away so not to far. Its a lovely place and probably one of the nice place to go in Singapore. There are pathways all the way through and signs everywhere making it easy to find your way around. I headed to the cafe in the middle and stopped of for a drink and chilled out for  20 minutes.

I then headed back a different route through the gardens and on to Uni Central to meet Chris for lunch. After lunch I headed to Sim Lim [the electronics centre] to get a replacement lens cap which I lost on Tioman. I went to the guy I had got my waterproof camera from and he said $10 which I got to $8, I walked around to see if I could get it cheaper thinking its unlikely and have offers from $10 to $45 [£5-£23] for a lens cap. After this I went to a ‘Mall’ to get some nail clippers as I forgot to bring mine with me. Success and back to Uni.

Here I met Chris and we chilled for a bit before heading to Mt. Faber, the highest mountain in Singapore. We got the MRT to the bottom and walked up [could have got a bus but were not lazy] so all 160m up later and what a cracking view. You can see all over Singapore and Sentosa which at night is all lit up and looks fantastic. We were trying to get Mc Donald’s delivery to the top as I was amazed you can get it delivered! However the cost would have been to much to instead we went to it at the Harbour Front and then played on the travelators that take you over to Sentosa Island. Its a $1 to get in and well I’m not a fan of Blackpool so wasn’t that interested in going to Singapore’s version, it was also about 22:30 so we need to started heading back.
