Take 3 – RTW Update

So Whats happening with this around the world? ……

Well making an itinerary is a little more difficult that I thought, especially when company’s monopolies places like Ayers Rock to price it to totally unreasonable levels. Camping being around £23 a night!!!!! that without electric. For £23 a night id expect a personal tent-guard stood outside, electric and a foot massage. It really is a monopoly the 5 hotels, 1 hostel and camp-site are all run/owned by the say company. If that wasn’t enough then they also run all the tours locally, bummer!

So Singapore I have no plan I’m hoping that Chris will have enough suggestion of things to see an do on arrival, Chris your a hell of a LAD cheers.

Australia is proving fun, I think I have a ruff plan which so far is: Cairns [go diving] go to Canberra [visit stuff + wineries] maybe visit Mount Kosciuszko [highest mountain in Australia and on the Bass list of 7]. Then head to Sydney and possible up to Aberdeen to see an old friend before back to Sydney to flight out to NZ. I also have ideas of sailing around the WhitSundays, which would be very fun and enjoyable, just difficult to get to.

I have yet to Plan NZ but have been in contact with people there and some things are falling into place such as a cycle ride around part of Lake Taupo. Im more relaxed about NZ possibly as I have 7 weeks there.

Hawaii I have looked at trying to get the the ‘Big Island’ and back to Honolulu which looks do able and theres plenty to see there and well got to get up North Shore and Surf Dude!

Again San Fran I have a ruff plan but the rest I have to sort, I hope to have Oz and more sorted by the end of this week.

Been to Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Hawaii, San Francisco, Montreal, You have then what would you suggest seeing/doing?
